Ensuring a smooth and reliable user experience was a critical step in the RideShare development process.
We conducted usability testing sessions to observe how students interact with the Touchstone app while preparing for the IELTS. Users were asked to complete tasks such as accessing practice modules, attempting mock tests, checking their band score progress, and navigating between learning sections. These sessions helped identify usability challenges, improve navigation flow, and ensure that students can easily access study materials and track their preparation progress.
Each feature of the Touchstone app was thoroughly tested to ensure reliability and smooth performance. This included testing core functionalities such as listening exercises, speaking practice, writing task submissions, mock test modules, and band score tracking. The goal was to confirm that every feature works accurately, delivers correct feedback, and provides students with a seamless and effective IELTS preparation experience.
The application was tested under different usage conditions to ensure consistent performance. This included evaluating loading speed of practice modules, response time during mock tests, audio playback for listening exercises, and AI feedback processing for speaking and writing tasks. Testing across multiple devices and screen sizes ensured that the Touchstone app delivers a stable, fast, and efficient learning experience for all users.
App Results
The final version of the Touchstone app successfully improved the IELTS preparation experience by providing structured learning, real-time feedback, and easy access to practice resources. After usability improvements and testing phases, the app delivered a more intuitive interface and a smoother learning journey.
Overall, the app delivered a more efficient, structured, and user-friendly IELTS preparation experience, helping students stay consistent with their practice and better prepare for their study-abroad goals.
